St James Church was built in the 1960's on the site of an older building. It has a small worship area seating about 100, with two small halls and a kitchen. The congregation normally numbers around 20 each Sunday and meets at 10.30 am. The worship is informal, friendly and welcoming, with a bible-based sermon, regular lay participation and includes both traditional and contemporary songs of worship. The service usually lasts about an hour and a quarter. Normally there is a communion service alternate weeks.
